CAMPING

There are three government islands in which camping is available. Each of the islands have 5 reservable primitive campsites. There is no running water and no showers. Simply fire pit, bench and nearby outhouse. On McDonald Island there are 3 reservable oTENTiks which contain 6 bunk beds, solar powered charging stations and a small table contained within a safari tent structure. The islands are carry-in + carry-out - so no trash receptacles, you must discard of your trash on the mainland. To get from the camping islands to Gananoque or to Kapton's Quarters is less than a 5 min boat ride. Easy Peasy!!

Campsite reservations open Tuesday, January 18th 8am E.S.T. - try not to miss it!! :)

For those of you looking to save a few bucks, camping is the way to go. However, you're going to need a means to get around. This means teaming up with fellow campers or spending the extra money to rent a boat (more info on that HERE).

And of course if you have any questions and/or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. We want to help!!
